We have published a discussion paper – submissions open

We are pleased to share our newly published discussion paper on work arrangements in creative industries.

The purpose of the paper is to invite feedback on issues related to work arrangements and pay for artists, arts workers and arts organisations.

We want to better understand the issues specific to the sector and how we can help artists, workers and organisations understand and meet their obligations under workplace laws and build towards best practices.

We are inviting feedback from all current, past and emerging artists, arts workers and arts organisation, and those who have relevant knowledge and experience, to respond to the questions in this paper.

Submissions can be made through our online form until 30 May 2025. Anyone needing an alternative way of making a submission is encouraged to contact the team.

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
