ACT Human Rights Commission

The Anti-Discrimination NSW administers the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, aiming to eliminate discrimination in the state. They handle enquiries, investigate and resolve complaints, raise awareness, grant exemptions, and advise the government on discrimination issues.

Australian Human Rights Commission

The Australian Human Rights Commission investigates discrimination and human rights complaints, advocates for human rights in law and policy, and promotes awareness through education and research. They support diversity and inclusion, provides legal advice, and monitors Australia’s compliance with international human rights standards. The Commission handles complaints related to sex, disability, race, age, and more in areas like employment and education.

Equal Opportunity Commission SA

Equal Opportunity SA is an independent statutory body that supports the Commissioner for Equal Opportunity in South Australia. The body helps resolve discrimination complaints, educates the public on equal opportunity laws, and supports workplace culture reviews. While they provide advice on legislative reforms and partners in research, they cannot impose financial penalties, lay criminal charges, or compel training or policy changes.

Equal Opportunity Commission WA

The Equal Opportunity Commission of Western Australia promotes equality and provides remedies for discrimination. The Commissioner works through community education, training, and investigating discrimination complaints. Fair Work Commission

The Fair Work Commission is Australia's national workplace relations tribunal, established by the Fair Work Act 2009. They set minimum wages, regulates registered organisations, and resolves workplace disputes. The Commission plays a key role in making awards, approving enterprise agreements, and ensuring compliance with workplace laws. They provide resources, research, and publications to help businesses and workers navigate the national workplace relations system.

Human Rights Commission Qld

The Queensland Human Rights Commission is an independent body accountable to the Queensland Parliament. The Commission provide legal services, policy advice, complaint management, dispute resolution, community engagement, financial and human resource management, and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Queensland.

NT Anti-Discrimination Commission

The Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Commission promotes equal opportunity by providing public education and training, handling discrimination complaints, and engaging with the community to raise awareness about rights and responsibilities under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992. Office of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner Tasmania

The Office of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner in Tasmania administers the Anti-Discrimination Act 1998. They provide  a complaints service for people or organisations affected by discrimination. The office focuses on high standards, collaboration with stakeholders, and engaging the community through training and education. Additionally, they contribute to policy development and ensure fairness in handling discrimination complaints.

Victoria Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission

The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission protects and promotes human rights in Victoria. The Commission also conducts independent reviews, investigations into systemic discrimination, and advocates for stronger laws.
