Ausfilm is a membership organisation that brings together Australia's screen businesses and government agencies. With offices in both Sydney and LA, they work to promote Australia as a destination for international film and TV production. The Australian Directors' Guild (ADG) represents screen directors working across film, television, streaming and digital media. They are a membership group that aims to improve professional standards, conditions and remuneration for Australian Screen Directors. Australian Writers' Guild

The Australian Writers' Guild (AWG) represents Australian performance writers principally in film, television, theatre, audio and interactive media. AWG offers services for paid members including script assessments, industrial resources, rate guides, a contract review and advice service, plus workshops and events.

Bus Stop Films

Bus Stop Films teaches filmmaking to adults with disabilities and people from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Their programs are taught by passionate filmmakers and industry experts to give participants a holistic filmmaking learning experience and offer participants increased, social, literacy and work ready skills. Participants to the programs benefit from exclusive workshops, excursions, workplace opportunities, mentoring with industry professionals and the opportunity to work collaboratively on a film project.

The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) strives to build strong and successful community broadcasters, including both radio and television, by providing essential services, advocacy, and support. Entertainment Assist

Entertainment Assist is a national health promotion charity that raises awareness about mental health and wellbeing in the Australian entertainment industry through research, education and training initiatives and promote these resources as widely as possible through entertainment workplaces. Entertainment Assist is for everyone working in the Australian performing arts and entertainment industry including performers, support workers, crew and technicians.

Game Workers Australia

Game Workers Australia is Australia’s first union for game workers. They support workers in the game industry to know their rights and bargain collectively. Their website has information about workers' income, workplace rights and sham contracting.

Gender Matters Taskforce

The Gender Matters Taskforce is a volunteer-based advisory body for Screen Australia. The group is comprised of women and gender diverse screen practitioners working across the Australian screen sector. The taskforce offers webinars and mentoring programs and professional opportunities.

Interactive Games and Entertainment Association

Interactive Games and Entertainment Association (IGEA) is the peak industry association representing the voice of Australian and New Zealand companies in the computer and video games industry. IGEA supports the business and public policy interests of the games industry, through advocacy, research and education programs. They offer free resource packs with industry information for individuals as well as resources for families on topics including parental controls.

Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance

Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) is Australia's largest union for creative professionals. MEAA primarily serves the TV, theatre, film, journalism and entertainment industries. They offer free resources on workplace rights and contracts, and publish industry rate trackers on their website. MEAA mostly works on a paid membership basis offering various benefits and services to members.

Screen Australia

Screen Australia is the Australian Government agency responsible for supporting the development, production, promotion and distribution of Australian screen content in all its forms, across all platforms. The agency also administers the Producer Offset on behalf of Government, which underpins all local screen production. In addition, Screen Australia tracks industry data and conducts research on key issues to inform policy and support sector development.

Screen Canberra

Screen Canberra supports the development and growth of the screen industry in the ACT. They assist local and visiting productions in realising their creative visions through funding, initiatives and by connecting producers with the local industry and locations. Screen Canberra provide strategic support mechanism for the ACT screen industry through collaboration, training, education and funding.

Screen NSW

Screen NSW supports the New South Wales' screen industry through a vast range of initiatives and promotes NSW as a premier filmmaking destination. These include location incentives, filming grants, and industry rebates attract major international investment and boost local production. Screen NSW champions creative innovation and economic sustainability for the state’s content creators and digital storytellers.

Screen Producers Australia

Screen Producers Australia (SPA) represents independent producers of film and television in Australia. SPA provide exclusive industry resources including negotiated agreements, template contracts, guidelines, rates and more for their members. They also advocate on behalf of the industry for the importance of Australian stories

Screen Queensland

Screen Queensland is the state's government-owned agency investing in locally made films, series and digital games, and attracting international and interstate production and post-production. The agency runs career-building initiatives for practitioners around the state and supports film festivals and industry events. Screen Queensland supports the creation and growth of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander screen content, practitioners and representation across the industry and state. They are committed to ensuring diverse representation across all aspects of the production and development process. Screen Queensland also operates Screen Queensland Studios in Brisbane and Cairns.

Screen Tasmania is responsible for supporting and developing the state's film, television and multimedia industries. They provide grants and equity investments in the development and production of Tasmanian screen projects including short films, drama, documentaries, feature films, television series, video games and digital media. They provide direct support in the form of industry and professional development for the sector.

Screen Territory NT

Screen Territory is an agency of the Northern Territory Government responsible for supporting, developing and promoting the screen industry in the region. Screen Territory administers government funding for the screen industry through the annual Screen Funding Program. Screen Territory aims to be the partner of choice with stakeholders in NT to enable a thriving and unique screen industry. The agency provides advice, manages funding programs, supports industry placements and partnership activities.

Screen Vixens are a professional and dynamic community of women and female identifying screen producers working across all sectors of the screen industry. They are a membership based group offering a platform to connect through meetings, mentoring, industry resources, expert masterclasses and promotion. They also host a podcast on Spotify.

Screen Well

Screen Well is an organisation that provides mental health and wellbeing training, advocacy and insight for the Australian Screen Industry. They offer free services such as the Mental Health First Aid training, the wellbeing awareness and skills program and other workshops on related topics for individuals, educators and businesses. Screen Well aims to create a more sustainable and mentally healthy screen industry.

Screenwest WA

Screenwest is a not-for-profit screen funding organisation based in Western Australia. It supports the development, production and promotion of film, television, and digital game projects in Western Australia. Screenworks is a national member-based non-profit organisation that supports screen creatives and crew across regional Australia. They offer professional industry programs and activities for members and non-members at every career stage to develop their skills. South Australian Film Corporation

South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) is South Australia’s leading screen authority and investment body, supporting the development, growth and promotion of the state’s screen production sector. The SAFC administers a range of Production and Development funding for screen productions of all types, from TV series and feature films to short films, web series, video games and more.

VicScreen

VicScreen is Victoria’s creative and economic screen development agency supporting screen businesses, infrastructure, festivals and events. VicScreen invests in the development and production of film, television, online, virtual reality and digital games projects. They offer incentives for production, post-production, animation, visual effects and games to generate production activity and employment in Victoria. Their programs are designed in consultation with industry to ensure support is relevant, inclusive, future-focused and responsive to industry needs.

Women in Film and Television Australia (WIFT) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to advocating for gender equity, diversity, and inclusion within the Australian screen industry. They offer programs and events targeted at mentorship and professional development, open nationally and for members.
