Comcare

Comcare is the national authority for work health and safety, and workers’ compensation. 
Their purpose to promote and enable safe and healthy work engages our clients and stakeholders around physical and psychological injury prevention, early intervention, injury recovery, return to work and work health and safety regulation. Comcare have several important core roles as a regulator, scheme manager, insurer and claims manager.

eSafety Commissioner

The eSafety Commissioner can help with cyber abuse and cyberbullying, whether you’re at work or not. They provide information on different types of cyberbullying and pathways you can take to get help. The eSafety Commissioner also provides specialised resources and training for educators and other groups like parents, young people, women, seniors and First Nations.

Fair Work Commission

The Fair Work Commission (FWC) is Australia's national workplace relations tribunal, established by the Fair Work Act 2009. They set minimum wages, regulates registered organisations, and resolves workplace disputes. The Commission plays a key role in making awards, approving enterprise agreements, and ensuring compliance with workplace laws. They provide resources, research, and publications to help businesses and workers navigate the national workplace relations system.

Fair Work Ombudsman

The Fair Work Ombudsman is Australia's national workplace relations regulator. They provide information, education, and advice to employers and employees on pay, workplace rights, and obligations. The Ombudsman enforces compliance with the Fair Work Act, awards, and registered agreements by investigating breaches, recovering underpayments, and taking enforcement actions. They also educate the public on workplace laws, rights, and best practices.

NT WorkSafe 

NT WorkSafe helps businesses and workers in the Northern Territory understand their obligations under work health and safety and workers' compensation laws. They offer services such as workplace visits, audits, inspections, and provide advice and guidance to ensure compliance with safety standards. NT WorkSafe's divisions work together to improve safety, reduce risks, and support workers’ compensation and rehabilitation processes.

SafeWork Australia

Safe Work Australia is a national policy body representing the interests of workers and employers. They develop national policy to improve work health and safety and workers' compensation arrangements across Australia. As a national policy body, Safe Work Australia don’t regulate WHS laws or administer workers’ compensation arrangements.

SafeWork NSW 

SafeWork NSW is the workplace health and safety regulator in New South Wales. Their objectives are to prevent harm through firm regulatory actions and to support industry capability by providing advice and information to workers and businesses. Where necessary, SafeWork NSW enforce compliance and undertake investigations and prosecutions to help secure safe and healthy workplaces.

SafeWork SA 

SafeWork SA is South Australia's workplace health and safety regulator. They offer advice and education on work health and safety, provide licences and registration for workers, investigate workplace incidents and enforce the work health and safety laws in South Australia. SafeWork SA have a range of free services including the Advisory service, the Wellbeing Advisory Service and the Injured worker support service.

WorkSafe ACT

WorkSafe ACT, led by the Work Health and Safety Commissioner administers and enforces the Work Health and Safety Act in the ACT. They offer services including compliance monitoring, safety advice, and education to businesses and workers. The Commissioner also promotes work health and safety awareness, conducts inspections and investigates serious incidents.

WorkSafe Queensland

WorkSafe Queensland is the official platform for Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Electrical Safety Office, Workers' Compensation Regulatory Services, and WorkCover Queensland. Together, these organisations provide resources on work health and safety regulations, electrical safety, workers' compensation claims, and workplace injury management. They are committed to supporting safer workplaces and ensuring effective workers' compensation practices.

WorkSafe Tasmania 

WorkSafe Tasmania administers the work health and safety regulations in Tasmania in a joint initiative with the WorkCover Board Tasmania. WorkSafe Tasmania promotes safer and healthier workplaces and practices along with prompt and effective return to work through practical guidance and education. They investigate workplaces for compliance with legislation and process occupational licenses and permits. They offer a free advisory service for physical and mental health support.

WorkSafe Victoria 

WorkSafe is Victoria's workplace health and safety regulator. Their role is to reduce workplace harm and improve outcomes for injured workers as well as being the workplace injury insurer. WorkSafe can carry out inspections, targeted interventions, enforcement and prosecutions. They educate, support and guide workplaces to provide a safe environment for their workers. They also hold negligent employers to account and enforce occupational health and safety laws if workers are subjected to risk or harm.

WorkSafe WA 

WorkSafe WA administers the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 in Western Australia. They offer services such as workplace inspections, compliance enforcement, education, and guidance on safe work practices. WorkSafe provides specialist advice, risk management resources, and investigates incidents to prevent harm. Their goal is to reduce work-related fatalities and injuries.
